The Israel Summer Business Academy (ISBA), is a once-in-a-lifetime, six-credit hour, educational experience for students interested in innovation and entrepreneurship.
This unique opportunity, open to undergraduate students of all faiths and beliefs, allows you to study and immerse yourself in the Israeli business environment. You’ll learn about entrepreneurship, innovation, and non-profit consulting through coursework, speakers, company visits, and actual non-profit consulting.
ISBA is collaboration between Olin Business School at Washington University in St. Louis and the Interdisciplinary Center (IDC) in Herzliya, Israel. This program offers a rare chance for students from all kinds of backgrounds to learn first-hand about business in Israel, a country that has built itself around entrepreneurship. ISBA is launching in summer 2014.
- 65 percent of start-ups in Israel last more than 5 years
- More start-ups per capita than any other country in the world
- Israel has the third most companies on NASDAQ behind United States and China (the Israeli population is just 7 million)
This non-denominational program is open to undergraduate students of all faiths and beliefs. The program is targeted toward rising sophomores and juniors; and all students must have a 3.0 GPA. You do not need previous business coursework or knowledge of Israel to participate.
