CAMPUS FACILITIES AND RESOURCES

Olin is part of Washington University in St. Louis. The University has a wealth of resources: technologically sophisticated facilities, libraries and computer labs – as well as a beautiful campus.

Let's start with Simon Hall, the hub of your business student experience.

The 80,000-square-foot building contains student lounges, classrooms, seminar rooms, faculty offices, an extensive library with online computer links to all major data systems, a 70-unit computer lab, a laptop lab, rooms for small-group study and a café.

Information Services
We provide a variety of computing resources. Every student is eligible for network accounts that include email, file storage, a personal website and remote access to the Olin network. You can access these resources from computers in the Olin computer lab or from your own laptop at one of Simon Hall’s several network ports or through the comprehensive wireless network.

Libraries
The Al and Ruth Kopolow Business Library, located in the upper level of Simon Hall, provides resources and services that support our curriculum, as well as the information needs of our students and faculty.

Kopolow Library’s online resources include Dow Jones Interactive, Lexis/Nexis, InfoTrac and ABI, as well as databases provided by Moody's, Standard & Poor's, Hoover's, and Disclosure. The library also receives comprehensive real-time stock and other market information through the Bloomberg and Bridge Information systems. The library houses a book collection of approximately 30,000 volumes and maintains subscriptions to more than 400 major business journals, magazines and newspapers. And you can use the document delivery service to have a book from any campus library delivered to the business library.

Weston Career Center
The Weston Career Center enhances students’ professional development and job-search skills. Located in Simon Hall,
the Weston Career Center's library houses current information on industries, companies and contacts. The Weston Career Center also assists corporate recruiters looking to hire our students for full-time positions, part-time positions or summer internships.

Charles F. Knight Executive Education and Conference Center
State-of-the-art interviewing and corporate events are held in the Knight Center, home to Olin’s executive education programs. The Knight Center also offers dining services and accommodations.

Elsewhere on the Washington University campus you'll find:

Campus Library
The main campus library is called the Olin Library, but it's not part of Olin Business School. It's east of Simon Hall in the middle of campus just beyond Graham Chapel. You can use the document delivery service to have a book from any campus library delivered to the business library.

Athletic Complex
The Washington University Athletic Complex accommodates a wide range of individual and group recreational and intramural activities. All students with validated picture IDs are eligible to use the complex.

Campus Bookstore and Gift Store
The Campus Bookstore is located on the ground floor of Mallinckrodt Center. Bear Necessities, a nonprofit gift store run by the Women's Society, is located in the Wohl Center and sells University apparel, souvenirs and freshly baked birthday cakes.

Dining Services
Cafes and coffee shops are located throughout campus. For locations, hours of operation and menu information, visit the University site at http://diningservices.wustl.edu/.

Edison Theatre
