Washington University is a full partner in the Yellow Ribbon Post-9/11 G.I. Bill benefit. If the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) determines you to be eligible for the Yellow Ribbon benefit, Washington University and the VA will cover 100 percent of your tuition.
You may qualify for scholarship awards even if you are not Yellow Ribbon-eligible. Indicate your U.S. military service on your MBA application, and you’ll be considered automatically for Olin Veterans Association scholarships.

To help you make the transition from military to academic life, we offer a Veteran’s Boot Camp. This two and a half day pre-orientation features prep sessions – for the most challenging core courses – and career advising. After this preparation, you’ll join the rest of your MBA classmates for GO! Week orientation.

The Weston Career Center has advisors who understand you and your military background, and who work with you to help you define and reach your career goals. They work with you before, during, and after the program to offer self-assessments to aid you on your career path; strategize with you in setting career goals, conducting job searches, and reaching employment objectives; assist you with creating a civilian-style resume; and coach you through the transition from military service to civilian workforce.
With access to top industry experts, the WCC can also provide you with insider perspectives of senior business executives in your industry or field of interest. Mentors often include veterans who are MBA alumni. And, if your schedule permits, the WCC can connect you with regional recruiting partners for a pre-MBA internship.
