The program admits one class per year. It offers a condensed format. You take classes in four segments: a summer session at Olin, two academic semesters at SMU, and a final summer session at Olin.
Twenty-one credit hours are completed at SMU, and 24 credit hours are completed at Olin. SMU will transfer 9 credit hours from Olin while Olin will transfer six hours from SMU, for a total of 30 hours of credit at each school.
The summer curriculum includes immersion courses in New York City and Washington, D.C. that explore U.S. financial markets, policymaking, legislative processes, enforcement agencies, and the Federal Reserve. Courses in Washington, D.C. are offered in collaboration with Brookings Executive Education
