The government of India founded IIT Bombay in 1958 with funds from UNESCO. IITB formed the Shailesh J. Mehta School of Management (SJMSOM) in 1995 to develop the “renaissance leaders of tomorrow.” Located in Mumbai – the commercial and financial heart of India – IITB is recognized for its pioneering engineering and management education and research.
During the International Management Residency in St. Louis, classes are held at the Charles F. Knight Executive Education & Conference Center on Washington University's campus.
