An Ongoing Academic Support System
Once you're accepted into the Executive MBA program, you become part of a continuing academic support system that includes EMBA faculty, staff, and classmates.
Most Olin EMBA students take advantage of preprogram refresher classes in Microsoft Excel and accounting. An online math course is available if you want to brush up on other quantitative skills.
You also can take advantage of these opportunities to expand upon the Executive MBA curriculum:
- While you are enrolled in the EMBA program, you can take two complimentary one- or two-day seminars. After you graduate, you'll receive a discounted rate on seminars.
- MBA elective courses are another option for lifelong learning. For 24 months after graduating, you may take MBA electives at no cost. After 24 months, you're eligible for the standard alumni discounted rate. Faculty approval is required prior to enrollment, and you pay for books and any nontuition related expenses.
Alumni take advantage of these opportunities to keep their hard and soft skills sharp and to broaden their professional network.
Olin professors want you to succeed and make time outside of class to review course material and how it relates to your own business issues – further increasing the value of your investment in lifelong learning.
