Leadership requires more than analytical, cross-functional skills. Leaders must have the emotional intelligence to guide stakeholder relationships, competence to exert power and influence wisely and ethically, confidence to make decisions with less-than-perfect information, and courage to embrace change.
The weeklong Leadership Residency – which occurs midway through the program – includes modules on formal and informal leadership.
A section on creative thinking enhances your ability to generate strong ideas, the building blocks of innovation, growth, and entrepreneurship. You and your classmates brainstorm concepts for new companies, products, and services in preparation for your innovation project.
The residency is held at the Charles F. Knight Executive Education & Conference Center on Washington University’s main campus.
