Event Details:
Through the Center for Research in Economics and Strategy (CRES), Olin hosted a conference on Organizational Ecology Theory and Strategy, April 23-24, 2004 at the Knight Center. The conference bring together the leading scholars in the area of Ecology Theory (for those unfamiliar with this stream of research, it is named for a methodological approach to industry dynamics rather than an interest in the environment) to present and discuss their most recent research. The goal of this conference was to hear and discuss early stage research of leading scholars. Further, the theme of this conference was the work that has applications to the field of strategy. Notable presenters included: Glenn Carroll, Bill Barnett, Laszlo Polos and Boyan Jovanovic.
