CURRICULUM

The Institute infuses undergraduate, MBA and Executive Education curriculum with a deep understanding of innovation and growth through challenging course work, programs and experiential learning opportunities.

MBA Program
Innovation is a core business process associated with survival and growth of the organization. MBA courses examine concepts, theories and practices in managing growth and innovation in today’s ever-changing business landscape. Students study key concepts, the “rules” of value creation, market value and other areas related to innovation and growth. Two courses that center on innovation and growth are Managing the Innovation Process taught by Professor Panos Kouvelis and Integrated Value Creation: The Wholonics Approach taught by Professor Anjan Thakor.

Executive MBA Program
The Executive MBA program asked top executives at 200 leading corporations about their most difficult and persistent business challenges. With that in mind, curriculum has been designed using four themes - two of which are Innovation and Growth - which address the issues and challenges identified and provide students with the tools necessary to succeed in a complex, unstructured business environment. Two current executive MBA courses on innovation and growth are:
  • Innovation & Creativity: Managing the Innovation Process
A core business process associated with organizational survival and growth; and the evolution of knowledge creation, testing and implementation.
  • Sustainable, Profitable Growth: Strategies for Growth
Evaluate how organizations make the best choices on mergers and acquisitions, learn how to foster organic growth, and develop tools and strategies that will help your organization generate and sustain profitable growth.
