Financial Support

Private support from corporations, foundations, and individuals fill the gap between tuition revenue and the costs of providing a top-quality education. A variety of gift options exist.

Corporate Partners: An Overview
Over 70 corporations and foundations provide financial support to the Olin Business School. These companies are recognized as Corporate Partners on a plaque in Simon Hall. Gifts can be unrestricted or directed to a named scholarship, the placement office, student activities, facilities improvements, or one of Olin's unique programs such as the Minority Youth Entrepreneurship Program (MYEP).

Levels of Giving:
Annual gifts are recognized in one of the following levels:
Partner $2,500 +
Senior Partner $5,000 +
Leadership Partner $10,000+
Dean's Partner $25,000+
Chancellor's Partner $100,000+
Special Challenge Grant:
In November 1997, a special challenge grant of $15 million was announced from Emerson Electric Co. and its chairman, Charles F. Knight. This grant provides donors with the opportunity to leverage their own contribution to Olin, doubling its impact. All gifts will be matched 1:1.

As a leading provider of research-invigorated management education, Olin contributes much to the economic vitality of St. Louis, the Midwest region, and the nation. As the School grows in stature, significant benefits accrue to the business community. Many companies support Olin for the following reasons, among others:
