Washington University in St. Louis
Founded in 1853, Washington University in St. Louis offers more than 90 programs, nearly 1,500 courses in traditional and interdisciplinary majors, and a faculty renowned throughout the world for teaching and research. The 169-acre Danforth Campus is designed primarily in the collegiate gothic style and includes a number of buildings on the National Register of Historic Places. In addition, the first Olympics held in the United States took place in 1904 on Francis Field, located next to the Field House athletic complex. John E. Simon Hall
Home to Olin's undergraduate and MBA students, Simon Hall is one of the largest academic buildings on the Danforth Campus with 80,000 feet of usable floor space. Named for Former Chairman of the Olin-Matheson Chemical Corporation John E. Simon, Simon Hall contains classrooms, student lounges, seminar rooms, a business library, a computer lab, study group rooms, faculty offices, and a café. Laptop labs, express labs, and wireless access throughout the building keep students well-connected.
The Charles F. Knight Executive Education Center
This five-story, 135,000 square-foot facility supports Olin Business School by providing faculty, students, and visiting executives access to classrooms, conference rooms, an audiovisual command center, a boardroom, and breakout rooms, all equipped with state-of-the-art technology. Sixty-six guest rooms are located on two floors of the Knight Center.
A broad cross-section of companies utilizes this unique learning environment for conference services, and for custom education and executive degree programs offered by Olin Business School. The Knight Center also houses the Weston Career Center.
