Arnold W. Donald

Mr. Donald joined Monsanto in industrial chemical sales in 1977 and worked in ever more challenging and responsible roles for 20 plus years with the company. He served as Corporate Senior Vice-President and President of the Consumer and Nutrition Sector of the corporation with worldwide responsibility in the company's growth, globalization and technology initiatives. He was also president of the $4 billion plus agricultural sector, overseeing three years of tremendous growth and marked by the successful introduction and commercialization of Monsanto’s first crop protection products resulting from modern plant biotechnology. Hours: Monday, 8:30 a.m. - 12 p.m. or by appointment.
Richard J. Mahoney
Executive in Residence, Olin Business School, September 2004
- Distinguished Executive in Residence at Washington University’s Weidenbaum Center on the Economy, Government & Public Policy
- Former Chairman and CEO of Monsanto
- Founder and sponsor of The Olin Award
During Mr. Mahoney’s tenure as CEO he transformed Monsanto from a largely commodity chemical and agricultural specialties company into a broad-based life sciences and specialty chemical company with major programs in pharmaceuticals, food and nutritional ingredients, and world leadership in agricultural biotechnology and related activities. Hours: Monday, 10 a.m. - 12 p.m. and 2 p.m. - 3 p.m.
Jack H. Purnell
Executive in Residence, Olin Business School, August 2001
- Former Executive Vice President, Anheuser-Busch Companies, Inc.
Mr. Purnell retired from Anheuser-Busch Companies, Inc., in 2001 where most recently he was Executive Vice President and a member of the Anheuser-Busch Strategy Committee as well as the three-person Corporate Office. He held many other positions there in his 36-year career, including vice president of the domestic company’s marketing staff, senior vice president of corporate planning and development, and chairman and chief executive officer of Anheuser-Busch International, Inc. Hours: Thursdays, by appointment.
