CURRICULUM

Develop a broad cross-functional managerial perspective.
The Master of Science degree in Supply Chain Management curriculum is designed to serve the market of logistics and supply chain management professionals looking for a top-notch academic program that emphasizes rigorous training in the fundamentals of global supply chain management, access to working tools in designing and managing world-class supply chains, a deep understanding of integrated risk management of all relevant supply chain risks, an integrated functional management perspective for the logistics and supply chain activities, a strong experiential component via relevant simulations and case studies, and an application-driven focus via challenging integrated real-world projects with corporate partners at the Boeing Center on Technology, Information, and Manufacturing (BCTIM).

The following curriculum includes a total of 36 credits, divided between required courses and electives:
  • Required courses (31.5 credits)
  • Elective courses (4.5 credits)
  • In addition, there are 6 credits of Foundations course work that can be waived on a case-by-case base, depending upon students’ background. These credits are in addition to the required credits to complete the degree.
  • A minimum grade point average of 3.0 in all graduate course work is required to remain in good academic standing.

Accommodations can be made for local applicants with full-time positions and relevant experience who want to complete the program on a part-time basis.

Transfer of Credit
Olin Business School will accept up to nine credits of course work taken at another AACSB accredited institution, if the grades you earned are "B" or better, and the Academic Review Committee judges the courses to be equivalent to Olin MS/SCM classes in quality and content. Submit the course syllabus and transcript to your business advisor. The review process usually takes at least two weeks to complete.
