Career Connections
Sign up to be a Career Connections participant, which makes some of your contact information available to current students. There's even a spot for you to add some career history or advice. Alumni can also use this resource, located within the Online Alumni Directory.

MBA Mentor Program
The Olin Mentor Program fosters relationships between alumni and current students and complements the academic curriculum with exposure to the business community. Students are able to explore different industries, review career paths and fine-tune their career goals. The mentor program pairs first-year, second-semester MBA students with alumni for a one-semester mentoring relationship.

Lunch With a Pro
Through Lunch With a Pro, full-time MBA and PMBA students meet informally with alumni over lunch. Students ask questions like: What is it really like to work in such areas as corporate finance, investment banking or marketing? Is there a typical career path? What are the pros and cons of working for a large multinational firm versus a smaller company? Your answers help guide students in their job search. Turning the Tables
Meet informally with small groups of Professional MBA students over a boxed dinner prior to class. Many PMBA students have significant professional experience – so you just might benefit too. The objectives of the interchange include strengthening professional skills, moving in a new career direction, building networks and broadening professional horizons. Symposiums and Talent Summits
Each fall in St. Louis, students, alumni and recruiters gather at a series of industry-focused symposiums for professional development and discussion of industry trends. The evening events start with a career exposition, which isfollowed by a keynote address, panel discussion and networking reception. Symposiums are held for accounting, financial services, marketing and consulting industries.

Talent Summits bring our students and employer relations team to various areas (New York, Chicago and Silicon Valley) for company visits, career development panels, networking receptions and sometimes interviews. Hosting students during a Talent Summit builds awareness for your company and gives you an opportunity to preview our talent on your home ground.

Student Consulting Teams
Olin’s Center for Experiential Learning (CEL) can help your organization solve business challenges by providing cost-effective management expertise. In the practicum, student teams tackle a problem that you define, guided by a faculty member who has expertise in the area of your project. The Taylor Community Consulting Program provides pro bono consulting for nonprofit organizations.

Projects range from new product introductions and organizational change to financial analysis and operations re-engineering.

Other experiential programs focus on international business and globalization, the management of nonprofit organizations, and entrepreneurship.

These programs provide a great opportunity for you to asses our students' on-the-job business skills and leadership potential. In fact, many CEL clients have hired our graduates after working with them on projects. For more information, go to the CEL Web site or call 314-935-4512.
