Daylight Saving Time Changes for 2007

The U.S. Energy Policy Act of 2005, extended Daylight Saving Time (DST) in the U.S. by approximately four weeks. As a result, beginning in 2007, DST will start three weeks earlier on March 11, 2007, and end one week later on November 4, 2007. Some hardware devices and software programs will need to be updated to show the correct time during these new DST periods.

Check the list below for affected systems that you may need to update. Links are provided to the appropriate updates.

Microsoft no longer provides free support for these operating systems. If you are still using these systems, consider upgrading. Otherwise, you can manually edit your time zone settings by using the Tzedit program. Information on how to sue this file can be found at http://support.microsoft.com/kb/914387.
