A January 2009 study in the Journal of Marketing (by Seggie and Griffith) found that Steve is the 18th most productive marketing professor in the world in terms of his publications. He is the winner of the 2001 William F. O'Dell Award and the 2001 Early Career Contribution Award. He has published numerous papers in top-tier marketing journals. He has served as an expert witness in cases involving trademark infringement, deceptive advertising, survey research, class action certification, and other issues
