Markus Baer


Assistant Professor of Organizational Behavior

Behavioral Science; Human Resource Management/Industrial Relations; Motivation; Organizational Behavior - Team Development

Research interests:

Creativity and innovation at the individual, team, and organizational level of analysis, cross-cultural effects of organizational climate/culture (e.g., error management culture) on organizational performance, social network theory

Professor Baer enjoys music, swimming, running, and, above all, soccer. He is married and has a daughter.

Markus Baer

  Prior to earning his doctorate, Professor Baer worked in the German automotive industry and, as a member of the founding team of a university-affiliated start-up venture, consulted for firms in Europe and Asia. His expertise lies in the areas of creativity and innovation.
