Professor Boxerman is married with three children. He enjoys electoral politics, running and baseball.

Professor Boxerman has been an adjunct lecturer in business law since 1989. He is a partner at the Clayton, Missouri, law firm of Capes, Sokol, Goodman & Sarachan, P.C., where he specializes in civil and criminal trial and appellate work. Professor Boxerman previously served as a public defender in the City of St. Louis trial office.
