Professor Gordinier enjoys golf, competitive and defensive firearms, antique furniture, short-wave radios, and discussing the proper roles for and authority of the federal government.

Michael R. Gordinier

  Professor Gordinier has been an adjunct lecturer at the Olin School since 1990 and has taught graduate level physics at the University of Missouri-St. Louis. Dr. Gordinier's unique approach to quantitative business education and his financial/ estate planning consulting business reflect his training as a physicist where the use of quantitative techniques are stressed. He brings over 15 years of practical experience to the classroom with such diverse organizations as the Oak Ridge National Laboratory, McDonnell Douglas Corp., U.S. Dept. of Energy, and National Life Insurance Co.
