Mark B. Lewis

Mark B. Lewis

  Mark Lewis is an experienced private equity professional who has considerable experience working with expansion-stage companies. Over the years, he has financed companies from a wide range of industries, with an emphasis on business services companies differentiating through applied technologies. As a member of the firm's Investment Group, he is responsible for investments and portfolio companies in Missouri, Hawaii and the Gulf Coast states. Presently, Mr. Lewis is a member of the board of directors of two portfolio companies, Quick Study Radiology, Inc., and Voxitas, Inc. Mr. Lewis joined Advantage at the beginning of 2007 after working at Two Rivers Associates and its predecessor firm, Gateway Associates, in St. Louis. Prior to Two Rivers/Gateway, he worked at an investment banking and venture capital firm in New Jersey financing early-stage information technology companies in the Mid-Atlantic region. Mr. Lewis is an adjunct professor at the John M. Olin School of Business at Washington University in St. Louis, lecturing on private equity and venture capital finance. In addition, he serves on the Board of Advisors for Olin's Skandalaris Entrepreneurship Program, and is on the board of directors of the Edgewood Children's Center. Mr. Lewis earned a bachelor's degree in government from Georgetown University in Washington, D.C., and an M.B.A. degree from the John M. Olin School of Business at Washington University in St. Louis.
