Ying Xie obtained her doctoral degree from Kellogg School of Management, Northwestern University, where she also taught an introductory marketing course to the undergraduate students. Before joining Olin, she had taught various marketing courses at both the undergraduate and MBA level at Rutgers University. Her recent research focuses on pharmaceutical marketing, social contagion, and consumer behavior in financial decision making.
