Ethics consultant and speaker to business and healthcare institutions.
Chair of the Biomedical Ethics Committee at Christian Hospital in north St. Louis county.

Personal interests:

An avid racquetball player, Professor Yoak is an amateur Shakespeare aficionado who loves theater and the arts.

Stuart D. Yoak

  Professor Yoak has been a Lecturer in Professional Ethics at Washington University since 1986. He teaches two courses each year at the Olin School: "Ethical Issues in Managerial Decision Making" (B63 502/402) and "Business Ethics: Topics and Cases" (B63 513I). He also co-teaches Engineering Practice and Professional Values (E60 450) in the School of Engineering. As the Executive Director for the Center for the Study of Human Values at Washington University, Professor Yoak is helping facilitate interdisciplinary research and teaching in ethics and values among faculty and students from all schools of Washington University and with leaders throughout the community.
