Classrooms and Technology
Today's learning is based on the knowledge of your presenters and fellow
participants, and on immediate access to information from across the nation and around the world. Consequently, today's business meeting requires connectivity and an on-site staff capable of supporting advanced computer, audiovisual, and presentation technology.
We provide connectivity through an Audiovisual Command Center operated by full-time A/V experts. The specialized technology and equipment found throughout our facility gives presenters and participants access to video conferencing, simultaneous broadcasting, video and audio taping, and multiple built-in projection units for computer, document, and other video images.
The Knight Center contains six classrooms: a 106-seat, tiered classroom; two 72-seat, tiered classrooms; two flat classrooms that can be reconfigured for multiple purposes such as lectures, seminars, and other group activities; and a 26-seat boardroom. Power and high-speed Internet access is available at every seat in most meeting rooms. Other classroom features include an ergonomic podium containing two computers, a touch screen that controls computer commands, sound, and room lighting; a wireless microphone and mouse; and headsets for hearing impaired attendees. Breakout rooms that accommodate 6 to 10 individuals are equipped with comfortable task chairs, a computer, a printer, a phone, and a table wired for laptop data and power. Our facility meets all requirements stipulated by the Americans with Disabilities Act.
