This site created by the Center for International Business Education and Research at Michigan State University is a wonderful resource for anyone wanting to do business in other countries.

VIBES
Virtual International Business and Economics Sources from the library at the University of North Carolina--Charlotte.

The library has a table in the Reference area devoted to international business. the material includes country specific reports and more general information. Some examples of our print resources:

  • Passport - Pocket Book Series on over 20 individual countries. Has information on business, customs, and etiquette.

  • Dun & Bradstreet's Guide to Doing Business Around the World

  • OECD Economic Surveys

  • Country Forecasts - (Published by the Political Risk Service) - contains summary information on present and future business climate (i.e. Risk) for business in 100 countries.

  • Global Competitiveness Report - (ranks countries on a variety of economic factors)

  • Exporters Encyclopedia - (Dun & Bradstreet) - in addition to comprehensive information on exporting to specific countries, there is excellent basic information on each country.
