Curriculum Overview and Course Descriptions

Olin’s MACC program can be completed in several ways:

  1. A one-year format for students with an undergraduate degree with some background in business or economics. Students in the one-year program will not be able to enroll in the cooperative experience.
  2. A 3-2 format for existing Washington University students.
  3. A two-year format for for students with no undergraduate background in business or economics.

To complete our MACC program, students need to complete 33 credits in 500-level courses. Students are required to maintain a GPA of 3.0 throughout their studies.

Students who are also concurrently enrolled in Olin’s BSBA program (i.e. 3-2 students) will need 153 credits, including 18 semester hours in accounting beyond principles and 18 in related courses. In addition, they will need to have at least 33 credits in 500-level courses. These requirements will ensure that these students will also be eligible to sit for the CPA exam in most states.
