Eligibility

Students must have completed an undergraduate degree from an accredited institution at the time of enrollment in the MACC program, comparable to the four-year undergraduate bachelor's degree from Washington University. Washington University undergraduate students wishing to enroll in the MACC program on a 3/2 basis must have completed at least 60 semester hours and Intermediate Accounting (ACCT 3610) prior to beginning the MACC curriculum.

Applicants must supply scores from the Graduate Management Admission Test (GMAT) or the Graduate Record Examinations (GRE) General Test. Test scores should not be more than five years old. When taking the computer-based GMAT, please make sure that you choose Washington University: John M. Olin Business School, Masters in Accounting (MACC) from the drop-down box. If a code is required, please use R4T-WG-62. For the GRE General Test, please indicate institution code R6929. Please contact us at MACCinfo@wustl.edu if you have any questions about the test requirements.

Students should possess excellent writing, speaking and presentation abilities in English. The TOEFL is required if your native language is not English. However, it is not required if you have completed at least two years of study toward a degree (not including ESL classes) in the United States or the English-speaking provinces of Canada, the United Kingdom, Australia, or New Zealand. For TOEFL registration materials, contact the Educational Testing Service (ETS) at www.toefl.org or by email at toefl@ets.org. The TOEFL institution code for Washington University is 6929. If asked for a Department code, it is 02.
