Welcome to Olin LGBTA Association

Corporations are competing to be employers of choice, recognizing that in order to recruit the brightest and best, they need to provide work environments that value an employee's full identity. To prepare Olin students for this changing environment, the LGBTA welcomes all business students, alumni, faculty, and administrators regardless of sexual orientation, gender identity, or gender expression to join club activities.

The Mission of the Olin LGBTA MBA Student Club is:

• To educate the Olin community on the issues facing LGBTA employees in the workplace and the steps that corporations are taking to welcome those employees.
• To prepare Olin students to recognize LGBTA issues and function effectively in corporate environments where diversity is a core value.
• To identify and engage LGBTA role models in the corporate world, particularly from among the Olin alumni.
• To provide LGBTA students, faculty, and alumni a forum for interaction and support.

The LGBTA club will attempt to collaborate with other Olin clubs whenever possible to raise awareness and provide support. The club has both a social and professional purpose, and will sponsor events both on and off campus.

Constituencies:

The LGBTA is a club organized and run by current Olin MBA students with the intention of serving and involving PMBA, EMBA, and BSBA students, as well as Faculty, Administration, and Washington University Business Alumni.
