Weston Career Center Contact Database
The Weston Career Center Contact Database is a listing of corporate contacts with exposure to the Olin School through the Weston Career Center. The database is updated daily and lists contacts from the US and abroad.
The information in this database is confidential and proprietary. Students must agree to comply with the Weston Career Center Ethics Policy and Guidelines before gaining access to this resource. Please read the guidelines carefully keep this information in mind when interacting with Weston Career Center contacts.
Only students who are registered with the Weston Career Center have access to this online resource. To logon you will need to enter your Social Security Number.
Query Screen (select one or all of the following criteria)
- Company Name: all companies are listed in the drop-down - type in the first letter of the name and then scroll though the list to find the company
- Company Industry: companies are indexed with a main and a sub-industry code - use the drop-down field on the form to make a selection
- Contact Geography: contacts can be selected by city and/or state - searching by state ensures that suburban locations are included in the results
- Contact Title: since this is not a defined field, type in any part of a title (ie, "market") to find contacts within a functional area
- Contact Event Attended: the Weston Career Center sponsors or attends many events throughout the year - contacts are tracked for all events attended
Results Screen
- Company Information: shows the company name, address, phone, company description, main and sub industry codes
- Contact Information: shows contact name, title, address, phone, fax, and email
- Relationship: describes the contact's exposure to the Weston Career Center - contacts can have up to 4 relationships which can include alum, panelist, prospect, offer accept, job posting, recruiter, greeter, primary contact or business card (if there has been no direct contact)
- International: if the contact recruits students for international locations, "yes" is in this field
- Events/Notes: describes the events the contact has attended (with the date) and other descriptive information
