Recruiting excellence

Washington University attracts high-caliber students with outstanding academic and leadership skills and widely diverse backgrounds. Our undergraduate and graduate students come to the University from locations across the United States and around the world. International students and faculty add a global perspective to our business school that we enrich through study-abroad programs, courses and internships.

Our career-preparation courses, "Career Navigator" for graduate students and "Managing Your Business Career Strategy" for undergraduates, emphasize self analysis and assessment. As a result, our students focus on career paths that fit their abilities and interests early in their management education. These courses also help students develop strong writing, analytical and presentation skills.

In addition, we integrate real-world management problems and practices into our curriculum - along with instructors, guest speakers and business models from around the world. Our degree programs combine actual work experience with the latest business theories - enabling our students to think critically, creatively and practically.

The Weston Career Center takes a personalized approach to recruiting - offering you a variety of services tailored to your specific hiring needs. As your recruiting partner, we get to know you, your company and your culture and enhance our relationship through ongoing dialogue and shared information.

The most important thing we provide is access to students who are exceptionally qualified for your positions. Our small size allows us to know all our students, along with their strengths and career goals. And our high faculty-to-student ratio allows us to customize course material and prepare our students rigorously for the international marketplace.
