Phase Four: Communicate: Résumés, Cover Letters and Correspondence

You are now ready to get your message out about yourself. This phase will be your communication headquarters for resources like the Weston Career Center résumé guidelines and samples, templates for cover letters, and much more. The resources you use during this phase will help you effectively market your talents, skills, and knowledge.

The objective of résumés and cover letters is to land you the interview. They should create a favorable first impression and make the employer want to talk to you. All correspondence is an expression of yourself. Take the time to build your résumé and letters properly and you will reap the rewards later.
